The Woodhorn Group is a family run 1500 acre Organic Arable and Dairy farm, which has been farmed by the Pitts family since 1882. Our desire to run an environmentally friendly and sustainable farm led us into organic farming. Successful organic farming requires an  understanding of soil conditioners and how to nurture soil naturally. Our premium range of composts and soil conditioners has developed from this expertise and are made from recycled plant material, nature's natural method of revitalising soil. Our farm has Organic Certification and has achieved British Standard PAS 100 and meets the requirements of the Compost Quality Protocol.
