"Just a short note to let you know how pleased we are with the performance of your soil improver. As you know we used nearly 100 tonnes in the refurbishment of Bishop's Palace Garden. I'm pleased to report that the plants are thriving and establishing well in only their second year in the garden. We have received so many positive comments about the impressive displays from the shrubs, perennials and roses. The news is spreading fast as several gardening groups from across the country have booked guided walks with us.

Further good news is that the garden has been awarded a prestigious national green flag award and achieved a gold award at this year's South and South East In Bloom awards.

Obviously using your soil improver has helped with our environmental commitment to eliminate peat use in our parks and that helped tremendously with the judges scoring.

I can also report that our sports pitches are responding well to the use of the sports topdressings you have supplied for our spring renovation programme over the past two years. The grass coverage has improved on previous years and your product is proving very cost effective."

"We searched across many soil companies in Sussex and without doubt in this, our 25th anniversary, I can say Mary and I are very happy we chose Earth Cycle. Not only were the products unequalled in our opinion for loose or bagged up range of soil types, particularly for the Rhodi, specimen trees and many azaleas, the saving on nursery purchases was significant.

The efficiency of deliveries targeted to maximise on changes to the weather were very important to us to manage the many micro climates in what used to be a disused quarry. It meant we can truly say we would never have made the exceptional progress needed this year without our partnership with Earth Cycle to manage us through the most challenging year of our now 26 year tenure of the gardens.

I say partnership as this was far more than a supplier relationship whereby visits by Martin the Sales and Marketing Manger to access best practice for our Mediterranean maze and ornamental grasses garden and acer and bamboo gardens.  It was vital to liaise with a back office staff to get the communications tip top for the many deliveries throughout Spring Summer and Autumn who all made the project a wholly enjoyable and fruitful result.

That's no mean feat in this difficult climate. In essence the professionalism and expertise of Earth Cycle meant we had full peace of mind in getting through preparations for a hugely successful set of 8 open days in 2011 for the public in aid of Chestnut Tree Children's Hospice."

"Staff and pupils at Jessie Younghusband School have been very grateful for the advice and support given by Earth Cycle over the past year. As you can see from the attached information, we have significantly improved our vegetable allotments, they are more accessible to all groups of children, as the tyres have acted as raised flower beds and the bark has enabled the tyres to be used in all weather.

The quality and quantity of produce has been improved through their compost, top soil and mulch; Their support of organic approaches has increased our confidence and skill in planting and pest control.

Gaining the Silver Gilt Award, Green Flag, and Benchmark 3 from RHS could not have been done without team work, commitment and time from staff, governors, parents and pupils, and from those beyond the school, such as Earth Cycle."

Thank you.

Earth Cycle donated organic cow compost, top soil, mulch, and play bark needed to finish our new tractor tyre vegetable patch at Jessie Younghusband School.

The new vegetable patch has meant many more children have been able to garden regularly and we have had a very successful summer, with bumper crops of vegetables including tomatoes, courgettes, pumpkins and cucumbers.

We used organic methods in gardening including companion planting and pest control as part of our commitment to being and Eco –friendly school. We were delighted when the school was recently awarded a Level 3 Benchmark from the RHS Campaign for School Gardening and a prestigious Silver Gilt Award from Britain in Bloom.
